Click the START button, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL

Locate the MODEM icon and double click on it

Select your modem and click the PROPERTIES button

Use the pull down menu to select a lower setting.
if lowering this setting does not have the desired effect
change it back, It may slow your connection some.

Click OK, CLOSE, close Control Panel.
Your new settings will take effect the next time you log on to TEIN
